VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

Due to the nature of the events that Task Force 75 responds to, the following are what we seek in a volunteer:

MINIMUM  CURRENT CERTIFICATIONS:

     FEMA COURSES

  • IS-100: Introduction to Incident Command System  

  • IS-200: ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents 

  • IS-700: National Incident Management System, An Introduction

  • IS-800: National Response Framework, An Introduction

    OTHER CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Basic Life Support - BLS

  • Basic First Aid

MANDATORY ABILITIES:

  • Ability to handle long days of strenuous physical activity

  • Ability to work within a Team

  • Ability to handle stressful situations

  • Ability to deploy for 7+ days at a time both financially and personally

  • Possess a necessary skill set; Military Veteran, First Responder, Medical training, Veterinary Professional, Dog Handler, Boat Operator, etc.

Additional Helpful Skills and Certifications:

  • Ability to swim

  • SAR Training

  • Commercial Drivers License (CDL)

  • Firearms Conceal Carry Permit (CCW)

  • Small Boat handling experience

  • Mechanical training

  • Construction experience

  • Logistical experience

  • Fork-lift operating experience
